Jason’s focus is placing top level marketing and agency talent in Asia.

Over the past two decades Jason has become regarded as one of the top headhunters placing senior marketing and communications executives throughout Asia with primary activity in Japan and China. Jason has served as the gateway to opportunities in marketing and with agencies since the early 1990's. He has personally placed hundreds of marketing and communications executives and when the results of the teams and companies he's created are counted, the number of placements measure in the thousands.

Sector Five is Jason’s second start-up and was officially opened in 2007. He previously founded the AdMark Asia Group in 2001. He led their rapid growth as CEO and ultimately Chairman, establishing offices in Tokyo, Shanghai, Honolulu, Hong Kong and Manila before selling the company to his management team in 2006. AdMark was the first specialist search firm in the marketing and communications sector in Japan and the Asia Pacific region. He has recruited and developed some of the top producing executive search professionals in the industry and was a pioneer in the use of offshore resources for the research function in the global talent business.

Before starting AdMark, he worked for several years as a top producing consultant, practice leader and Vice President at one of Tokyo's largest executive search firms. 

Jason serves as a Japan affiliate and advisor for a leading M&A firm serving the marketing communications sector. He's also led many market entry projects for companies entering Japan, China and Korea through numerous strategic alliance partners.

Prior to entering the people business, he held a variety of marketing and management positions in Chicago, St. Louis and Tokyo. A Texas native, Jason grew up in St. Louis and is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University where he studied marketing and mass communications. He now divides his time between business operations in Honolulu and Tokyo.
